Account Executive (Commissioned Sales)

RocketFuel, LLC is currently seeking a sales jedi to join its force. 

Candidates would be prospecting and selling customized solutions to owners, CEOs, and managing directors of medium to large companies in a competitive market against the established vendors and in house solutions. Must have the desire to succeed and ambition to win.  Candidate must also be a fast learner and have a memorable personality.  This is a team environment in which we work hard and play hard.  This position isn't for everyone, but definitely for those who understand the power of "The Force". 

Principle Responsibilities

  • Research clients' products, services, plans, competitors and target markets
  • Meet clients for briefings and present proposals to clients for approval
  • Brief agency colleagues, and work with them to plan and implement the best solutions for the client
  • Meet with clients to discuss strategy and report progress
  • Responding to clients' requests as they arise
  • Making "pitches"along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency
  • Keeping records and handling invoices
  • Travel frequently for meetings, and may be expected to socialize with clients
