Ready Shelby Website Launched
Ready Shelby is a public educational and outreach initiative with support from the Shelby County municipalities.
It's primary focus is emergency preparednes for the community and it aims to educate Shelby County residents on how to prepare for an emergency with specific attention given to the first 72 hours after an emergency.
The Ready Shelby website is part of the public awareness and education campaign from the initiative.
It provides quick tips and useful information to better prepare for all kinds of emergencies.
On the new website you will find tips for the first steps in emergency preparedness:
You'll also find information on how to prepare your Home, Family, Children, Special, Work, Auto, and Pets.
As well as how to prepare for different types of emergencies including Severe Weather, Home Fires, Power Outages, Winter Storms, Tornado, Extreme Cold, Extreme Heat, Floodwaters, Shaky Ground, Water Safety, and Personal Health.
Ready Shelby was the first website Shannon designed for RocketFuel. She has since designed a few more website but this one has the distinction of being her first RocketFuel website.
For the Ready Shelby web design we made it clean to keep the focus on the important subject but also to make the look of the website make a normally mundane subject seem fun.
